New Grêmio home & away
Brasileirão Série A’s Grêmio have dropped new home and away jerseys, inspired by three huge titles won by the club over the last century – their first Rio Grande do Sul Championship in 1921, their first Brazilian Championship in 1981 and their second national trophy in 1996. Each title has its significance and has been honoured in the designs of these shirts.
The Home jersey features Gremio’s traditional blue, black and white stripes, which have been updated with an alternating striped pattern on the front and back. This is complemented with a white V-neck collar and cuffs.
The white Away jersey incorporates graphic blue lines which fade across the front. The design has been finished with white sleeve cuffs and collar.
A special commemorative sign-off featuring the date of each title has also been included on the inside of the neck as well as the hem of both jerseys. The jerseys are available now via Umbro Brasil.
