Fans Forever: Jersey's
One thing Umbro has always been known and loved for is teamwear. For a century we have been kitting out teams from all over the globe. To celebrate this milestone in our history, we created two design concepts for our 2024 teamwear – one featuring a diamond-shaped neckline, drawing inspiration from Umbro’s iconic diamond-shaped logo, and the other forming a grid pattern of diamonds containing team references. In total 24 Umbro teams from 12 countries are donning one of the design concepts in this current season.
Floor Wesseling, kit designer and founder Blood.in.Blood.out, was the creative mastermind behind these concepts. With his designs he aimed to embody the past, present and future of Umbro. "These concepts visualise what Umbro stands for, celebrating its history by telling its story. The design fuses storytelling from the past and reflects the future through a modernistic and progressive approach.”
